The 19th Annual Kid's Fishing Clinic at Fort Island Trail Park is open for registration. The event this year will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023. During registration you will choose a time to start your child's rotation through the educational stations. Registration is filling fast so don't hesitate!!

Give your children the gift of knowledge
Citrus County Parks and Recreation in association with Fish Florida, presents their 19th Annual Kid's Fishing Clinic. This is an amazing event for youth ages 5-15 with an interest in fishing. Participants rotate through 4 educational stations including environmental stewardship, fishing ethics, knot tying, casting, and safety. Then they are giving their own rod to practice catch and release at the fishing pier with experience anglers sharing tips.
